Job summary

Careernet is hiring a Python-based QA Engineer in Bengaluru to design and execute automated tests for APIs, microservices, and integrations. You will build BDD specs with Cucumber, validate REST APIs using Postman, and create WireMock stubs for service virtualization. You will investigate failures and communicate risks during sprint cycles.

The role emphasizes hands-on test automation, REST API testing, and collaboration in Agile/Scrum teams. Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Python development, test automation, API testing, or software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Python-based test automation and automation framework development.
• Practical experience testing REST APIs and microservices, including functional and integration validation.
• Working knowledge of BDD practices and Cucumber feature development.
• Experience using Postman for API test execution and validation.

Responsibilities
