Job summary

Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance (SUD Life) invites dynamic insurance professionals to join us as Territory Manager in the Bancassurance channel in Chennai. You will lead a team, drive insurance sales through bank branches, and build strong partnerships with Branch Managers.

The ideal candidate has 4 to 10 years of experience in Insurance or Bancassurance, is a graduate, and demonstrates excellent communication, target orientation, and relationship management to grow our bancassurance

Qualifications

• Life Insurance experience is mandatory.
• Bancassurance channel experience preferred.
• Strong sales and relationship management skills.
• Good communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven track record of achieving business targets.
• Ability to work closely with banking partners and customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive insurance sales through allocated bank branches and achieve targets.
• Develop and manage relationships with Branch Managers and bank staff.
• Act as the single point of contact between the bank and SUD Life Insurance.
• Coordinate customer acquisition and service through bancassurance channel.
• Oversee training, capability development, and compliance.

Handling 6-8 Relationship Manager's Team.

1. Business Development & Sales Management

2. Relationship Management with Bank Branches
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with Branch Managers and bank staff.
   • Ensure active engagement and support from banking partners.
   • Drive insurance business through effective branch activation and relationship building.
   • Act as the single point of contact between the bank and SUD Life Insurance.
