Job summary

Auxilo Finserve in Pune seeks an experienced Credit Underwriter to lead the Education Institution Loans underwriting across the region. You will evaluate proposals for schools, colleges, and other educational entities, and perform comprehensive financial and collateral assessments.

You will analyze audited statements, cash flows, banking records, and tax returns to gauge repayment capacity, while coordinating with Sales, Legal, and Operations to ensure timely processing and disbursement of cases

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting Education Institution Loans and secured lending.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements, cash flows and ratios.
• Knowledge of legal documentation, property valuation and collateral evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the credit underwriting function for Education Institution Loans across the assigned territory.
• Evaluate and sanction credit proposals for schools, colleges, coaching institutes, universities, trusts, societies, and other educational institutions.
• Conduct detailed financial, business, management, operational, and collateral assessments.
• Assess borrowers' repayment capacity through analysis of audited financial statements, cash flows, banking transactions, income tax returns, and other relevant documents.
• Review legal, technical, valuation, and compliance reports before recommending or approving proposals.
• Monitor portfolio quality, early warning signals, delinquency trends, and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Work closely with Sales, Credit Operations, Legal, Technical, Collections, and Business teams to facilitate timely processing and disbursement of cases
