Job summary

Infosys Consulting in Bengaluru seeks a Telecom Management Consultant with 3+ years of experience in business analysis and project management for digital telecom solutions. You will lead multi-vendor IT programs, design BSS/OSS implementations, and drive improvements across mobility, cloud, data analytics, and IoT initiatives.

The role requires strong Agile practices, B2B telecom knowledge, and the ability to articulate value propositions during client engagements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, designing, defining, or managing projects on digital technologies in telecom industry
• Bachelor’s degree / Full time MBA/PGDM from Tier1/Tier2 B Schools in India or foreign equivalent required
• Understanding of B2B marketing processes in telecom
• Project/program management of large and complex IT projects/programs
• Managing implementation of various BSS/OSS products and assist in Wireless networks, Network as a Service, Omni Channel, Customer engagement and Payments, Billing, and Revenue Assurance
• Digital technology areas like mobility, cloud, data analytics, insights, and reporting platforms like Power-BI, IOT, AI/ ML
• Business analysis, Process definition and continuous improvement exercises using various business consulting tools and methodologies
• Consulting clients in analyzing B2B customer segments for growth opportunities, designing B2B customer analytics
• Technology Project Management including managing technology vendors and client stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis, define requirements, and drive digital telecom initiatives
• Manage large, multi-vendor IT projects/programs across global teams
• Represent Infosys Consulting in client discussions and proposals
• Support sales pursuits with impactful use cases and value propositions
• Design client-specific digital solutions including IT strategy and tools considerations

Telecom Management Consultant Previous consulting experience in a leading consulting firm is preferred

• At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, designing, defining, or managing projects on digital technologies in telecom industry
• Bachelor’s degree / Full time MBA/PGDM from Tier1/Tier2 B Schools in India or foreign equivalent required
• Understanding of B2B marketing processes in telecom
• Project/program management of large and complex IT projects/programs
• Managing implementation of various BSS/OSS products and assist in areas including Wireless networks, Network as a Service, Omni Channel, Customer engagement and Payments, Billing, and Revenue Assurance
• Digital technology areas like mobility, cloud, data analytics, insights, and reporting platforms like Power-BI, IOT, AI/ ML
• Business analysis, Process definition and continuous improvement exercises using various business consulting tools and methodologies Customer centric redesign of operations and business processes
• Strong knowledge of Agile development practices (Scrum), methodologies and tools. Gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirement and creating functional specifications for new systems and processes
• Assessing as-is processes, doing gap analysis, creating to-be processes and making recommendations to implement changes
• Consulting clients in analyzing B2B customer segments for growth opportunities, designing B2B customer analytics
• Technology Project Management including managing technology vendors and client stakeholders
• Manage large projects and programs in a multi-vendor scenario and globally spread team and deliver the outcome leveraging Agile principle and applying DevOps capabilities
• Lead and manage pursuits with telecom prospects, specifically articulating Infosys’ products, and services unique value proposition through practical use cases across the value chain
• Manage, design, and implement leading edge, client-specific solutions, including development of business case, IT strategy development and tools/software considerations around Digital solutions
• Work closely with client IT teams and business personnel to uncover opportunities and draw actionable insights
• Involvement in additional internal firm building activities such as knowledge management and recruiting
• Lead and support sales efforts for new and existing clients in creation of proposals, preparation and facilitation of sales presentations, plan and participate in client meetings and discussions
• Represent Infosys Consulting and present papers in industry conferences
• Provide Technology and Consulting Leadership within/outside the firm on trends around one or more of latest Digital technologies (Robotic Process Automation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data technologies, Data Analytics, IoT etc.)
