Job summary

WWF-India is seeking a proactive Donor Relations professional to drive outreach and fund generation. You will manage inbound/outbound calls, deliver compelling pitches, and build lasting donor relationships while upgrading support levels.

You will also ensure accurate donor records in the CRM and provide exemplary supporter service, education, and engagement to advance conservation goals.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: Graduate, Post-Graduate or MBA.
• Excellent English speaking and writing; active listening & handling objections.
• Background in BD, Inside Sales, public speaking or tele-fundraising preferred.
• Target-driven, collaborative, able to inspire action with conservation values.

Responsibilities

• Execute inbound and outbound calling campaigns to introduce WWF-India’s programs.
• Deliver compelling pitches translating environmental issues into funding opportunities.
• Build long-term donor relationships through consistent follow-ups.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade donors to higher contribution tiers.
• Serve as primary contact for donor inquiries via phone, email, correspondence.
• Educate callers on WWF-India’s vision to deepen supporter commitment.
• Record donor interactions and update CRM promptly & accurately.
• Ensure compliance with donor privacy and data policies.

Active Outreach & Fund Generation

• Execute inbound and outbound calling campaigns to introduce prospective donors to WWF-India’s ongoing conservation programs.
• Deliver compelling, authentic pitches that translate complex environmental issues into clear, inspiring opportunities for financial support.

Donor Retention & Pyramid Advancement

• Build genuine, long-term relationships with supporters through consistent follow-ups and impactful engagement.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade existing donors to higher contribution tiers, increasing lifetime supporter value.

Supporter Experience & Communication

• Serve as a primary point of contact for donor inquiries via phone, email, and correspondence, providing prompt and empathetic support.
• Educate callers on WWF-India’s vision, creating memorable interactions that deepen supporter commitment.

Data Integrity & Stewardship

• Record donor interaction history, contributions, and contact detail changes in the CRM database promptly and accurately.
• Ensure full compliance with donor privacy and data confidentiality policies.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate, Post-Graduate, or MBA degree from a recognized institution.
• Communication: Exceptional spoken and written English skills, with an innate ability to active-listen, build rapport quickly, and handle objections constructively.
• Track Record: Background in Business Development, Inside Sales, Public Speaking, or Tele-fundraising is highly preferred.
• Mindset: Highly target-driven and collaborative, with the energy to inspire action and represent conservation values enthusiastically.
• Organization: Proven capability to multitask, prioritize high-volume outbound calling targets, and manage administrative duties smoothly.
