Job summary

WWF-India is seeking a passionate fundraising ambassador to engage the public at various venues, inform them about conservation programmes, and inspire donations. This role requires confidence to start conversations in public spaces and to build meaningful relationships with potential supporters.

Freshers are welcome, with priority given to strong communicators, persuasive presenters, and those with experience in field sales, customer engagement, or business development.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Freshers welcome; experience in fundraising, field sales, direct sales, customer engagement, business development, or similar roles is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasion and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with people in public spaces.

Responsibilities

• Represent WWF-India at designated public places, events, corporate spaces, residential communities, airports, malls, and other outreach locations.
• Initiate conversations with members of the public and create awareness about WWF‑India’s conservation programmes, initiatives, and impact.
• Effectively communicate WWF‑India’s mission, vision, conservation initiatives, and the importance of supporting conservation efforts to prospective donors.
• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, leads, conversions, and daily fundraising activities.
• Actively participate in fundraising campaigns, events, awareness drives, and other donor engagement initiatives.
