EY is a global leader in professional services, and this TechOps SAP OpenText Senior role sits within EY Global Delivery Services in Bengaluru. You will support, administer, and optimize OpenText solutions integrated with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and SuccessFactors, driving efficiency and compliance.

You’ll lead migrations, develop workflows and REST API integrations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust content management capabilities across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in SAP OpenText implementations and support.
• OpenText Expertise - xECM, Content Server, Archive Centre.
• Preferred - OpenText and SAP certifications.

Responsibilities

• OpenText Solution Administration: Manage Content Server, Archive Centre, xECM, metadata, permissions, and retention policies.
• SAP Integration: Integrate OpenText with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, and SuccessFactors; ensure seamless access within SAP transactions.
• Enhancements & Development: Build workflows, Live/Web Reports, and REST API integrations; support migrations and upgrades.
• Migration & Upgrade Activities: Lead content migration and OpenText platform modernization with data integrity.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure retention, audit, and regulatory compliance; maintain SOPs and knowledge articles.

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centres. The GDS team plays an important role in EY's strategy by ensuring effective support to EY's growth agenda.

The Opportunity

The TechOps SAP OpenText Senior is responsible for supporting, administering, enhancing, and optimizing SAP OpenText solutions across the enterprise. The role focuses on document management, content services, archiving, workflow automation, production support, and integration with SAP business applications such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, and SuccessFactors.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.

Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

• OpenText Solution Administration
  • Administer OpenText Content Server, Archive Centre, and Extended ECM (xECM). Manage repositories, workspaces, metadata, permissions, and retention policies. Configure document lifecycle management and records management capabilities. Manage user access and security controls.
• SAP Integration & Document Management
  • Integrate OpenText solutions with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP SRM, and SuccessFactors.
  • Configure Business Workspaces, DMS integrations, storage categories, and attachments. Ensure seamless document retrieval and content accessibility within SAP transactions.
  • Support SAP archiving and document repository strategies.
• Enhancements & Development
  • Develop and maintain workflows, Live Reports, Web Reports, and automation solutions. Implement custom integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and OpenText APIs.
  • Support migration and upgrade initiatives.
  • Optimize performance and improve operational efficiency.
• Migration & Upgrade Activities
  • Lead content migration from legacy repositories to OpenText platforms. Support OpenText version upgrades and platform modernization.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance during migration activities.
• Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure document retention, audit, and compliance requirements are met. Support regulatory and internal governance controls.
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline 8-10+ years in SAP OpenText implementations and support
• OpenText Expertise - xECM, Content Server, Archive centre SAP Expertise - ECC, S/4HANA, DMS, VIM
• Preferred - OpenText and SAP certifications
