Job Summary
The Technology Workstream Lead for the Sandoz STEP Transformation Program is responsible for driving the integration and implementation of new technologies to support business transformation. The role demands strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership to ensure alignment with program and business objectives. In the Commercial domain, the Lead owns Marketing, Market Access, Stakeholder/Customer Interactions, Sales, and Medical Affairs, and is accountable for delivering all technology solutions across these capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy: Lead the technology workstream by developing and executing comprehensive strategies that align with the overall goals of the STEP Transformation Program.
- Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of multiple technologies ensuring seamless interoperability and optimal performance. Drive technical development together with SI, other 3rd party professional services and internal IT development partners.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are achieved within scope and on time.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business & cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to communicate project status, risks, and issues, and to facilitate decision‑making processes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology implementation, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all technology solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and security, complying with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing technology solutions and optimizing business processes.
- Drive delivery for all tech solutions in collaboration with business, Tech CoEs and Factories.
Essential Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with technological transformation programs, proven track record of successful implementation and integration, IT operations and IT program delivery, technology experience with commercial platforms such as Salesforce, SAP (ideally S4), Vistex, Model N, Conga, and managing accelerated deployment timelines.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide cross‑functional teams towards achieving common goals.
- Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with experience in managing large‑scale, complex technology projects.
- Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles and practices, with experience in driving organizational change initiatives.
- Quality Assurance: Understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality technology solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance in all technology implementations.
