Mintoak Innovations Private Limited is seeking a QA Automation Analyst to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for native and hybrid mobile apps (Android/iOS), and to build robust test automation frameworks using Appium.

The role includes API testing, CI/CD integration, and continuous improvement of QA processes, with close collaboration with developers, product managers and data teams to ensure testability and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, CS or engineering.
• MBA from leading B-Schools preferred.
• 1–2 years in data analysis, reporting, or BI (internship or project counts).
• Knowledge of JIRA ticketing.
• Exposure to data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Metabase, Jupyter, Excel, Google Analytics.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Be aware of product updates, UX trends, and new tech.
• Able to explain tech to non-technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity to learn business context behind data for actionable insights.
• Clear communication; present findings simply.
• Exposure to Dagster or Airflow; Python/R for data analysis.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for native and hybrid mobile applications (Android/iOS).

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tool like Appium.

Conduct API testing as part of end-to-end validation of mobile workflows.

Contributing to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.

Assisting in root cause analysis and providing detailed documentation of defects and test results.

Supporting test execution in CI/CD environments and integrating test automation into pipelines.

Participate in critical design activities to assure that the product under development meets requirements and can be effectively tested.

Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with developers to resolve issues as and when required.

Analysing trends of bugs and getting them fixed.

Establish and maintain productive relationships with developers, product managers and other team members.

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet the deadlines.

Technical Skills and Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence (internship or project experience also counts).
• Knowledge on ticket tools such as JIRA.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, with exposure to data warehouses.
• Familiarity with reporting/analytics tools like Metabase, Jupyter, Excel, and Google Analytics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Be aware of product updates, ux trends and new technologies.
• Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn the business context behind the data, so you can deliver insights that are actionable.
• Clear communication skills to present findings in a simple and structured way to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to workflow/orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow, knowledge of Python/R for data analysis and automation, prior experience in SaaS/ fintech/ digital product companies will be additional nice-to-have skills.
