Accenture in India is seeking a Technology Platform Engineer to design and set up production and non-production cloud environments tailored to projects or products. The role requires orchestrating software tools to build scalable platforms and deploying automation pipelines for streamlined environment creation and configuration.

The candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure environments meet project requirements, while continuously monitoring and refining the deployed solutions

Formación

• Must have proficiency in Mainframe Modernization.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure setup and management related to mainframe environments.
• Strong understanding of automation tools and scripting for environment deployment.
• Experience with COBOL, batch/JCL, CICS, and DB2 SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
• Experience with testing (UT/UAT/E2E) and automation.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Summary:

As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and setting up both production and non-production cloud environments tailored to specific projects or products. This role requires careful orchestration of software tools to build platforms that support various development and operational needs. The engineer actively deploys automation pipelines to streamline the creation and configuration of these environments, ensuring efficiency and consistency. Collaboration with different teams to align environment setups with project requirements is a key aspect, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of the deployed solutions to maintain optimal performance and reliability.

• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of automation strategies to enhance environment provisioning and configuration.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster skill development and innovation.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of platform components.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and proposing effective solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Modernization.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure setup and management related to mainframe environments.
• Strong understanding of automation tools and scripting for environment deployment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and environment issues.
• Familiarity with configuration management and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and platform engineering.
