Job summary

Aarti Industries Vadodara invites a BE Chemical graduate with 6-8 years of project experience to lead process engineering efforts from concept to commissioning.

You will create PFDs, P&IDs, MSDs, plant layouts, perform mass and energy balances, and ensure BEP guidelines while driving safety and risk management across projects.

You will collaborate with R&D, interact with risk leaders, and support commissioning, startup, and document control, fostering a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of total experience in project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• BE Chemical from a reputed institute.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Process Engineers to design and deliver projects.
• Create and review PFDs, P&IDs, MSDs, and plant layouts.
• Prepare mass and energy balances for new projects.
• Perform basic engineering as per BEP guidelines and estimate CAPEX.
• Ensure BEP guidelines and project quality; drive risk management (HAZOP, HIRA).
• Coordinate with R&D for TTD and pilot plant trials.
• Support commissioning and start-up activities.

B. E. Chemical from a reputed instituteRole & responsibilities

• 1. Able to lead a team of Process Engineers which can:
• Create PFDs, P&IDs, MSD, & Plant layouts for new projects
• Generate Mass Balance, Energy Balance for new projects
• Complete basic engineering as per BEP guidelines
• Able to calculate and arrive at CAPEX figures after Basic Engineering
• Quality of BEP and project should be ensured as per guidelines
• Able to conduct Risk Management studies like HAZOP, HIRA, for new projects in coordination with Risk Management Leader
• Help project team in performing detailed engineering
• Enquiry floating of equipment and technical clearance of equipment's
• Help operation team in commissioning the project.
• Assist for technical clarification of operations persons for completed projects
• Initial benchmarks of process will be defined by the Technology team so as to achieve the parameters considered while designing.
• Create documents as per BEP guidelines and store them as per PI guidelines.
• 2. Create handover documents and do a smooth handover of project documents to project team
• 3. Maintain documents as per PI, so as to face quality audits. Cross functional audits to ensure quality of BEP.
• 4. Conduct pre-startup safety review, before plant startup
• 5. Ensure Behavior Based Safety practices while project execution is in progress.
• 6. Interaction with the R & D department for discussion on TTD and TTD demonstration if required.
• 7. Design and Interact Pilot plant trials and observe, Infer results of pilot trials
• 8. Create an atmosphere in a team to promote values and culture of the company. Show leadership in showcasing the culture of the organization.
