Job summary

Trianz is seeking an experienced Platform Architect/Senior Engineer to drive innovation through proof-of-concept work, spanning backend, data pipelines, and frontend. You will ensure multi-service interoperability, build demo-ready environments, and enable runtime module toggles.

You bring 8+ years of full-stack engineering, strong Python/Node.js skills, React, REST/gRPC, and Kubernetes expertise. This IC role emphasizes architectural leadership with fast delivery and codebase familiarity.

Qualifications

• Built working prototypes or POCs that informed real product architectural decisions.
• Experience across backend Python/Node.js, REST/gRPC APIs, React frontend and Kubernetes deployment.
• Contributed to or built a unified product experience where multiple services behaved as one.
• Fast prototyper who can go from idea to working demo in days.
• Able to read and extend unfamiliar codebases independently.
• 4+ years of full-stack engineering with at least 1 year building product POCs or technical prototypes.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

You are the innovation execution arm of the Platform Architecture vertical. When a new technology direction is proposed, you build a working proof-of-concept to validate it against the real product — fast, across the full stack, and to a demo-ready standard. You work at the intersection of architecture and engineering, turning ideas into evidence. You have built or contributed to a unified product experience before and know what it takes to make disparate services behave as one.

Key Responsibilities

• Build working POCs that validate architectural decisions against real product behaviour
• Prototype the shared data model: demonstrate that core entities surface correctly across modules in a live environment
• Build the toggle-based module enablement demo: a single environment where modules can be enabled and disabled at runtime
• Prototype new technology approaches across the full stack: backend APIs, data pipelines, and frontend experience
• Implement self-service deployment automation scripts for the unified platform layer
• Evaluate new frameworks, libraries, and tools through rapid spikes — build, document findings, discard what fails
• Maintain a living prototype environment that reflects the current architectural direction
• Produce demo-ready builds for executive and customer-facing demonstrations

Ideal Candidate Experience

Exp: 8+ years

Must Have

• Built working prototypes or POCs that informed real product architectural decisions
• Full-stack depth: Python or Node.js backend, REST/gRPC APIs, React or similar frontend, Kubernetes deployment
• Contributed to or built a unified product experience where multiple services behaved as one
• Fast prototyper — can go from idea to working demo in days, not weeks
• Comfortable reading and extending unfamiliar codebases independently
• 4+ years of full-stack engineering with at least 1 year building product POCs or technical prototypes

Nice to have

• Event streaming (Kafka or equivalent) for cross-service data sharing
• Developer experience tooling: internal platforms, scaffolding, CLI tools
