Job summary

Williams‑Sonoma India Technology Center seeks a Director to lead the Enterprise Support & Reliability Engineering (ESRE) for Supply Chain. You will build and mentor SRE and DBA teams, drive production stability, automation, observability, and global incident readiness across eCommerce and OMS platforms.

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, PagerDuty, and Opsgenie.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, incident management, disaster recovery, and operational governance.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Director Enterprise Support & Reliability Engineering (ESRE) to lead the Supply Chain Support organization responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of Williams‑Sonoma’s global supply‑chain technology ecosystem. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Business teams to drive production stability, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction while championing Site Reliability Engineering best practices.

Impact of the Role

Lead enterprise‑wide reliability initiatives across global Supply Chain technology platforms, drive operational excellence, production stability, and service reliability, build high‑performing SRE and Database Engineering teams, improve customer experience by minimizing service disruptions, and drive automation, observability, disaster recovery, and operational maturity.
