Role Purpose

To ensure success as a technical architect, you should have extensive knowledge of enterprise networking systems, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage. A top-class technical architect can design and implement systems of any size to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with the IT manager to determine the company’s current and future needs.
• Assess whether the current system can be upgraded or if a new system is required.
• Provide design ideas and schematics for systems.
• Manage the design and implementation of the system projects.
• Collaborate with software developers regarding system software needs.
• Troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
• Oversee all aspects of system integration.
• Evaluate the performance of upgraded or new systems.
• Train staff on system procedures.
• Gather and provide post-installation feedback to the company.

Technical Architect Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
• Previous experience as a technical architect.

Managerial and Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration.
• Understanding of computer hardware and networking systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages, operating systems, and office software.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to conceptualize big-picture designs from basic specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex IT issues.
