The purpose of the role is to create exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Develop architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests
   • Create enterprise-wide architecture ensuring scalability, reliability, and manageability.
   • Provide solutioning for RFPs and ensure design assurance.
   • Manage portfolio of solutions aligned with business outcomes.
   • Analyze environment, requirements to design solutions.
   • Provide technical leadership in solution design and implementation.
   • Define current and target state solutions, identify improvements.
   • Document and articulate architectural targets and recommendations.
   • Evaluate solutions for integration with existing ecosystem.
   • Coordinate with IT groups for transition and issue resolution.
   • Document architectural designs in detail.
   • Validate solutions from technology and cost perspectives.
   • Identify and analyze problems, propose solutions.
   • Collaborate with sales and consulting teams on solutions.
   • Stay updated on industry trends.
2. Enable Delivery Teams
   • Build relationships with stakeholders, act as trusted advisor.
   • Develop metrics for success.
   • Manage multiple projects, report status.
   • Identify and mitigate risks.
   • Ensure quality of architecture and design decisions.
   • Recommend tools for automation and reuse.
   • Develop and maintain enterprise framework.
   • Build effective working relationships.
   • Ensure adherence to architecture principles.
   • Support pre-sales, present solutions, negotiate with clients.
   • Demonstrate thought leadership to clients.
3. Competency Building and Branding
   • Complete trainings and certifications.
   • Create POCs, case studies, demos.
   • Publish white papers, blogs.
   • Build market recognition.
   • Represent Wipro in forums.
   • Mentor team members.
   • Contribute to architecture practice.
4. Team Management
   • Resource planning and hiring.
