Job summary

RE1019 LM Wind Power Blades (India) Private Limited seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Halol, Gujarat blade manufacturing facility. You will ensure uptime of molding, resin infusion, cranes, and handling systems while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires 4–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, proficiency with hydraulics and gearboxes, and the ability to read blueprints. Relocation support is available for this Halol plant position.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in wind turbine blade or heavy composite manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and precision mechanical assemblies.
• Reading technical blueprints and service manuals is required.
• Welding, fabrication, or machining skills are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance on production machinery and hydraulic systems to prevent downtime.
• Perform corrective maintenance and root-cause analysis on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide rapid technical support to the production floor to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols (LOTO, permit-to-work) in a high-output plant.
• Assist in installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
• Log maintenance activities and spare parts usage in the plant CMMS.

Maintenance Technician - Blade Manufacturing

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to join our state-of-the-art wind turbine blade manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat. You will be responsible for the uptime, reliability, and maintenance of specialized production equipment, including molding machines, resin infusion systems, overhead cranes, and automated material handling systems, ensuring seamless production of high-quality wind turbine blades.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance plans for production machinery, hydraulic Power Hinges, and vacuum systems to prevent downtime in the manufacturing process.
• Corrective Maintenance: Perform root-cause analysis and repair on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems utilized in the blade molding and finishing processes.
• Operational Support: Provide rapid technical support to the production floor to address equipment breakdowns immediately, minimizing impact on manufacturing cycle times.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (LOTO, permit-to-work systems) within the high-output manufacturing environment of the Halol plant.
• Project Work: Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment or plant upgrades.
• Documentation: Log all maintenance activities and spare parts consumption in the plant’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience, with a strong preference for candidates with prior exposure to wind turbine blade manufacturing or heavy composite manufacturing plants.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in troubleshooting hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and precision mechanical assemblies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and manufacturer service manuals.
• Technical Skills: Ability to perform welding, fabrication, or machining tasks is a strong advantage.

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Halol, Gujarat.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a shop floor environment, including working in confined spaces, at heights on equipment, and lifting heavy parts.

Language: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati is highly preferred for effective team communication.

Working Conditions: Location: Halol Plant, Gujarat. Shift Patterns: Ability to work in rotating shifts (Morning, Evening, Night) to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
