As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and optimization of components across our gas power portfolio. Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: Execute mechanical design and analysis (stress, modal, lifing) for rotating components in gas turbines, steam, generators, and accessory systems.
• Technical Stewardship: Take ownership of mechanical hardware; perform validation testing; and evaluate designs for factors like thermal growth, manufacturing variation, and assembly stack-up to ensure optimal product behavior.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering experts, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to optimize subsystems and components.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analyses (RCA) to improve reliability, quality, and yield. Apply lean principles to streamline processes and drive innovation.
• Project Delivery: Manage milestones through formal/informal technical reviews, ensuring compliance with NPI processes and design practices.
• Mentorship: Foster a collaborative environment by coaching team members and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Principal and Chief Engineers.

What You’ll Bring - Basic Qualifications

Master's or bachelor's in engineering with specialization in Mechanical, Design and Applied Mechanics, minimum of 4 years of Engineering experience.

• Additional 1-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Technical proficiency in engineering software (ANSYS-Classic/Workbench, NX) and programming languages (Python, Excel VBA) for data analysis.
