Job summary

TÜV SÜD Group in Tirupur, India is seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to support test operations in a textile QA laboratory. You will follow QMS documents, perform tests under supervision, record data, and help maintain equipment and records.

The ideal candidate has a B.Tech/Diploma in Textile or BSc in Chemistry and is comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment, ensuring data confidentiality and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• B. Tech/Diploma in Textile or BSC chemistry, Textile related.
• Assist in routine testing operations under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Support laboratory testing activities in accordance with TÜV SÜD quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow the quality management system documents relevant to the jobs & responsibilities.
• Performing the testing as per the correct test standard under supervision of Senior Analyst/Technician/Senior Engineer and Supervisor.
• Ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data / information generated.
• Carry out routine test/setup verification to ensure quality.
• Handling of Instrument operation based on authorization (as per applicability).
• Maintenance the technical records as per requirement.
• Recording Initial observations, necessary data, and calculations
• Inform the lab supervisor of any kind of equipment breakdown, fault or any kind of irrelevant test results.
