Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a skilled HVAC/BMS maintenance technician to ensure reliable operation of HVAC/BMS systems and to maintain environmental conditions per SOPs.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AHUs, DEX, scrubbers, and APUs, update logs and records, respond to alarms, and implement CAPAs to minimize disturbances. This role also requires safety adherence and ongoing energy-saving ideas.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of HVAC/BMS system to maintain environmental conditions per SOP.
• Timely preventive and breakdown maintenance of AHUs, DEX, scrubber and APU for smooth operation.
• Update documents: logbooks, preventive logs, history cards, and filter records as per SOPs.
• Perform filter cleaning of AHUs, APUs and dust extraction systems.
• Respond to BMS alarms quickly to minimize production losses from environmental disturbances.
• Analyze root cause of disturbances and implement CAPA actions.
• Maintain critical spares for HVAC & BMS systems.
• Ensure cleaning of HVAC system and service floor.
• Uphold safety of personnel and equipment; follow USV EHS policy.
• Ensure audit readiness, statutory and safety compliance.
• Monitor HVAC performance indicators and suggest energy-saving ideas.

Job description

• Operation and maintenance of HVAC/BMS system smoothly to maintain environmental condition and other related area as per SOP.
• Timely Preventive and breakdown Maintenance of AHU’s, DEX system, Scrubber and APU’s for smooth and effective operation of system as per requirements.
• To update all documents i.e. logbooks, Preventive logs, History cards, filter cleaning /filter replacements and filter monitoring records as per schedule mentioned in SOPs of HVAC/BMS system.
• To perform the filter cleaning of all AHU’s, APU’s and Dust extraction systems.
• To attend BMS system alarm in minimum possible time to maintain the environmental condition in process and related area to minimize production losses due to environmental condition disturbance.
• To analyze the root cause for the environmental conditions disturbance and to give inputs to take appropriate CAPA to minimize the occurrence of alarm.
• To maintain critical spares of the HVAC & BMS system.
• To ensure the cleaning of HVAC system and service floor.
• To ensure the safety of personal /Equipment’s while doing each and every job.
• To implements and follow the safety standards as per USV EHS policy.
• To ensure all time audit readiness & compliance.
• To ensure Statutory, legal and safety compliances.
• To monitor HVAC system performance indicators.
• To give energy saving ideas.
• To take care of tools issued for any maintenance job.
