Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai in Worli is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide service and repairs to hotel equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to hotel policies. You will perform preventative maintenance, repair motors and plumbing fittings, and respond to guest maintenance requests in a courteous, professional manner.

A Industrial trade certificate or Technical Diploma and 1–3 years’ experience are required, with

Qualifications

• Industrial trade certificate or technical diploma required.
• 1–3 years of experience in building maintenance or related role.
• Experience with Four Seasons or similar hospitality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, plumbing fittings, guest room equipment, kitchen equipment, breakers, chillers and related equipment.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ policies and standards of conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance in rooms or public areas in a timely manner.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedule for guest rooms.
• Respond to emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, and other issues.
• Clean all stations in Engineering and maintain an organized department and hotel.
• Assist with the installation or relocation of equipment as necessary.
• Assist in energy conservation programs in the hotel.
• Assist in installations for renovations and related electrical/mechanical setups.

Basic Function:

Provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, plumbing fittings, guest room equipment’s, kitchen equipment’s, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner.
• Follow PRP schedule for guest rooms maintenance.
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, natural clematis etc.
• Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing blockages and maintain an organized department and hotel.
• Support the installation or relocation of any additional equipment or existing equipment as and when necessary.
• Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
• Assist in the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.

Education:

Industrial trade certificate / Technical Diploma.

Experience:

Experience required by position is from one year to three full years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizations.

Skills and Abilities:

Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-Job or through a series of professional certifications.

Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment.

Ability to read and speak and write English.
