Qualifications

• Graduation in a recognized university.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software testing and QA automation.
• Strong knowledge of UI and API automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall automation testing strategy, ensuring alignment with project and product goals.
• Identify areas suitable for automation, perform ROI analysis, and prioritize test cases for automation.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Lead the creation of comprehensive automation test plans outlining objectives, scope, tools, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Review automation code, test scripts, and execution results to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into test scenarios and automation solutions.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution as part of the delivery process.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation framework and data issues to improve stability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, establishing automation standards.
• Monitor automation coverage, trends, and KPI metrics, reporting to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tooling.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and planning.
• Evaluate new testing tools and AI-assisted solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation frameworks, tooling, and overall quality engineering practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, frameworks, AI-assisted solutions, and engineering practices to continuously enhance the QA automation capability.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve requirement analysis, test design, automation development, defect analysis, and overall QA productivity.
