Job summary

Accenture Song in Kochi is seeking a Technical Test Engineer - Analyst to help automate testing across web applications. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation scripts using Cypress and Playwright, while contributing to UI, functional, regression, and exploratory testing.

The ideal candidate has 1.5–3 years of hands-on experience, a graduation degree, and a proactive mindset to continuously improve automation and quality throughout the software testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work in Agile environments, preferably using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright and Cypress.
• Assist in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform UI, functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA team members to understand requirements and report issues effectively.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and improve software quality.
• Log defects and provide clear, concise documentation of test execution results.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing automation frameworks and reusable test components.
• Demonstrate a proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and continuously improve automation and testing skills.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, ownership, and quality throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle.
