Job summary

iPLON India is seeking a Technical Support Head/Manager in Chennai to lead SCADA/PPC operations for Solar and Hybrid plants. You will supervise engineers, troubleshoot servers and OT devices, and coordinate with client HQ and site teams.

The role requires hands-on PLC and networking experience, strong Linux/Windows server administration, and leadership to drive service excellence in a fast-growing renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in SCADA/PPC operations or technical support.
• Knowledge of IoT platforms (Node-RED, MQTT, REST APIs, Cloud).
• Hands‑on with PLC platforms (Codesys, WAGO, Phoenix, etc.).
• Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, IEC 60870, IEC 61850).
• Diagnostic tools: Modpoll, Modscan, Modslave, Wireshark, Nmap.
• Strong expertise in Networking (IP devices, RS485, FO cables, firewalls, VPNs).
• Proficiency in Linux & Windows server administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting, client-handling & leadership skills.
