Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to debug and enhance Bid Manager takeoffs for electrical assemblies.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Eaton's low and medium voltage products and interpret specifications for accurate BIM modeling.
• Execute development lifecycle for updating Bid Manager content from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
• Enhance software integration with Bid Manager and BIM platforms.
• Deliver assigned tasks with precision and timeliness, maintaining high quality.
• Provide monthly updates on request volumes, progress, and backlog via scorecards and reports.
• Identify and implement strategies to streamline BIM request handling and reduce turnaround time.
• Create scripts that integrate Bid Manager takeoffs with design automation tools for seamless model generation.
• Develop and implement product-specific BIM specs translating Bid Manager selections into compliant scripts.
• Work across Eaton product lines including ATS, Safety Switches, Transformers, Group Metering, UPS, and Motor Starters.

What you ll do:

As a BIM/3D Modeling Engineer at Eaton, you will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into accurate digital models and BIM-enabled solutions. You will leverage your expertise in electrical components and assemblies to interpret technical specifications, and 2D engineering drawings, converting them into detailed 3D representations using industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms. The role requires strong technical and analytical capabilities, along with proficiency in C# programming to develop and enhance 3D modeling and automation solutions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Engineering (Electrical).


• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Switchgear Industry
