Job summary

INDUS Systems is seeking an IT professional to monitor and maintain Linux servers, perform health checks, manage user access, and troubleshoot issues. You will coordinate with senior engineers on incident resolution and project work.

The role requires basic scripting, SSH/networking knowledge, and strong communication. Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms is a plus; Mumbai-based or remote options may apply.

Qualifications

• Basic hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky/Ubuntu).
• Understanding of Linux commands, file systems, permissions and process management.
• Familiarity with SSH, networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Good server monitoring understanding and alerting.
• Basic shell scripting is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Linux servers and ensure system availability.
