Job Description
As an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with over 6 years of expertise in C/C++ development for Linux-based systems. Specialized in networking technologies including PON, Wi‑Fi, and Mesh, with hands‑on knowledge of protocols such as DHCP, IGMP, TR‑069, IEEE standards, and Multi‑AP specification.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Design and implement high‑performance embedded software solutions for advanced networking systems.
- Contribute to protocol integration and optimization for Wi‑Fi, Mesh, and PON systems.
- Collaborate across agile teams to deliver scalable and maintainable code.
- Act as a bridge between technical and business units, aligning development with product goals.
- Deeper understanding of containerization in embedded environments and its role in networking applications.
- Broaden expertise in Agile methodologies from a global, multi‑site team perspective.
- Gain exposure to cross‑functional collaboration with product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Enhance knowledge of emerging standards like Multi‑AP and IEEE 1905 in real‑world deployments.
Key Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline with 6+ years of experience in C/C++ development on Linux embedded systems.
- Networking protocols (DHCP, IGMP, TR‑069, IEEE 802.11).
- Experience with GPON, Wi‑Fi, and Mesh technologies.
- LXC‑based container application development.
- Experience with solution positioning in competitive markets.
It would be nice if you also had
- Experience working as a Product Owner for Agile teams.
- Familiarity with global, distributed development teams.
- Skills in cross‑functional collaboration (product, sales, marketing).
