Job summary

ISS India is seeking a B.Tech Electrical graduate to support facility engineering at Pune sites. You will manage asset upkeep, preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance, and ensure timely closure of PPM work orders across assets.

The role covers UPS, fire protection, HVAC and BMS/EMS/LMS systems, audits, incident and change management, risk updates, and quarterly engagements with contractor partners and landlords.

Qualifications

• B.Tech Electrical degree required.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts.
• Experience with asset maintenance and PPM/CMMS processes.
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHAS/ISO) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage upkeep of assets in Pune through preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance and ensure timely closure of PPM work orders.
• Work knowledge of UPS, Fire Protection, HVAC and BMS/EMS/LMS systems.
• Assist engineering lead in planning annual power down and coordinating with ~40 user groups, contractors and landlords; prepare presentations and obtain approvals.
• Support audits (OSHAS, ISO, Fire, Energy, Risk & Governance) and incident/change management processes.
• Engage with contractor partners and landlords quarterly; conduct rounds of all machine spaces and log equipment parameters.
• Contribute to global environmental initiatives and energy-saving measures within the site.

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITY FE TECH ENGINEERING & CRITICAL ENVIRONMENT

• Ready to work in all shift as site is working rotational
• Managing upkeep of assets across Pune through Preventive, Predictive & reactive maintenance (as per BES and local laws) and ensure timely & effectively closure of PPM work orders of various asset .
• Working knowledge of UPS, Fire Protection System (Sprinkler/ Fire Alarm/WLD VESDA/GSS/Pre action), HVAC (PAC/VRF/Split AC/TFA) and BMS, EMS and LMS System.
• Assisting to engineering lead in raising the Major activity w.r.t Annual power down for sites once a year. The activity requires scheduling/ planning/ engaging with around 40 Barclays’ user groups, preparing power down presentations, follow up meetings and approval. Engaging with all the associated contractor partner, landlord teams & risk assessment. Post power down / Post mortem report submission & auctioning.
• Assist / undertake various audits including Control / KPI checks, OSHAS, ISO, Fire, Energy, Risk & Governance (Internal / External).
• Raising and updating the Incidents. The incident management process defines updating of each incident at a frequency
• Change management. All the listed activities require issuance of changes and chasing all the user groups for approval.
• Assisting to engineering lead in updating & managing risks. The document to be updated as and when required.
• Engagements with all the contractor partners and landlords at least on quarterly basis.
• Regular rounds of all the machine spaces, checking of all the parameters, logging in the details, checking on equipment’s by the teams.
• Assisting to engineering lead in various Global environmental initiatives, including Earth hour, CSR Activities. This event requires proper planning, engagements with respective stakeholders and execution.
• Walk around on facility for every four hours to follow SOS initiative as an energy saving measure.
• Measuring of Noise level at critical areas.
• Hydrostatic pressure testing of all the fire extinguishers as HSE Recommendation
• Creating and managing reports and MIS related to engineering services.
• WAR(Weekly Activity Call) with regional team and sharing the all change requests with regional team for acceptance
