Job summary

Novonesis seeks a Technical Service Manager – Agronomy, Plant Health South Asia to validate product performance and deliver deep agronomic expertise to customers, researchers, and partners. You will lead field trials, support registrations, and collaborate with regulatory, marketing, and R&D teams to drive growth across India and South Asia.

The role requires a strong background in agronomy, 12+ years of experience, and excellent communication to bridge science and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Crop Science, Agricultural Microbiology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience within agronomy, technical services, market development, crop nutrition, crop protection, agri‑inputs, or biological solutions.
• Strong understanding of agricultural biological products, agronomic practices, and commercialization processes.
• Proven experience designing and conducting field trials and translating agronomic data into actionable customer recommendations.

• Provide agronomic expertise and technical guidance on Plant Biosolutions products and technologies.

• Represent Novonesis at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and technical forums.
• Design and manage research and field trials that generate efficacy data and support product registrations.
• Collaborate with agricultural universities, research institutes, SAUs, and CROs on validation and registration activities.
• Partner with Regulatory Affairs teams to support dossiers, permits, and registration requirements.

As our Technical Service Manager – Agronomy, Plant Health South Asia, you will play a critical role in validating product performance, delivering technical expertise, and driving market development. Working closely with customers, research institutions, commercial teams, and regulatory stakeholders, you will help bring innovative biosolutions to farmers and create long‑term value across the agricultural ecosystem. What you’ll need to be successful in this role
