Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end VoIP implementation projects from initiation through deployment.
• Gather business and technical requirements from clients and translate them into actionable plans.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with Development, QA, DevOps, Support, and Infrastructure teams.
• Track progress against milestones and ensure timely delivery.
• Run project kickoffs, status meetings, and client review meetings.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage scope changes and maintain clear project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
• Coordinate UAT and production rollout.
• Ensure successful deployment and customer acceptance.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource utilisation.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure compliance with organisational quality standards and project methodologies.
• Support pre-sales with effort estimation and project planning.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate requirement analysis, documentation, estimation, and reporting.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with hands-on VoIP development background to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of telecom and VoIP projects. This is not a purely coordinative role - the ideal candidate has previously built VoIP systems and now leads teams that deliver them. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, own project timelines, communicate directly with international clients, and ensure projects ship on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards. Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on development experience in VoIP/telecom (e.g. FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, Kamailio) - practical, build-level experience, not just conceptual familiarity.
• Strong understanding of VoIP technologies and telecom architecture: SIP, RTP, WebRTC, SBC, and IP telephony.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted and project-management tools to work efficiently.
• Comfortable navigating Linux servers.
• Basic networking awareness (TCP/IP, NAT, firewalls).
• Nice to have: exposure to a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and REST API integrations.
