Job summary

Kanerika Software in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong development background to lead software delivery in an Agile environment. You will bridge technical teams and business stakeholders, own the SDLC, run Scrum ceremonies, manage risks, and coordinate with architects to ensure design aligns with business goals.

With 8–12 years of experience and required certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP), you’ll guide cross-functional teams using JIRA/Azure DevOps and DevOps

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience with at least 4 years in a PM or Scrum Master role, and prior software development experience.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, APIs, and development pipelines.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with PM tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver software projects.
  • Bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical solutions.
  • Own the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring Agile best practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and demos.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Oversee task breakdowns, sprint tracking, effort estimations, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure alignment of design with business objectives.
  • Monitor engineering progress using JIRA or equivalent Agile tools.
  • Ensure integration of DevOps practices, testing strategies, and release management.

Job description

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong development background and deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a software developer, proficiency in one or more programming languages, and hands‑on exposure to software delivery processes.
