Bounteous is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager in India to drive cloud-based software delivery for a higher education client. You will lead distributed engineering squads, align with U.S.

leaders, and guide technical teams through implementation and architectural decisions. Required are 8–10+ years of software engineering and hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin Spring, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS, along with strong Agile practices.

The Role in Brief

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager (TPM) in India to drive cloud-based software delivery for our higher education client. You will manage distributed engineering squads and ensure seamless global collaboration. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise with Java/Kotlin with Spring, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS to guide technical teams through implementation, debugging, and architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple India-based squads (contract and full‑time).
• Coach teams on best practices, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Align priorities and facilitate smooth handoffs with U.S. engineering and product leaders.
• Partner with U.S. engineering and product leaders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in architecture/design reviews with architects and senior/junior engineers.
• Assist with code reviews and troubleshooting
