Designation: Technical Project Manager

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of projects for multiple clients, focusing on Java full stack and/or React.js-based development. You will oversee project timelines, resource management, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring timely and quality delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge of Java, React.js, and databases, along with proven project management experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop detailed project plans including scope, deliverables, timelines, and required resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
• Drive end-to-end execution of Java, React.js, or full stack projects including database components.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans to meet project objectives and client expectations.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

2. Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders for requirement gathering and project updates.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications involving frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities through regular reports and dashboards.

3. Resource Management:

• Assign and manage team members across development, QA, database, and DevOps functions.
• Balance workload and optimize resource allocation across concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with HR/resource teams to identify skill gaps and training needs.

4. Process Improvement:

• Define and improve project and development workflows (Agile/Scrum).
• Promote engineering and database best practices across teams.
• Evaluate project performance and implement improvements for future projects.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Enforce quality benchmarks for both application and database components.
• Collaborate with QA and DB teams to ensure thorough test planning and data validation.
• Lead retrospective meetings and ensure learnings are incorporated in future sprints.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Technical Expertise:

• Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred) and/or React.js.
• Proven experience in full stack development with backend-frontend-database integration.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle) including schema design, writing complex queries, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

2. Project Management Skills:

• Proven track record of managing end-to-end development projects including frontend, backend, and databases.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency in project tracking tools like JIRA, MS Project, or Asana.

3. Soft Skills:

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Adaptability to manage dynamic priorities and cross-functional teams.

4. Educational Background:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• PMP, CSM, or PRINCE2 certification is preferred
