Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive wing-to-wing execution of platform programs across multiple Imaging modalities. You will partner with global stakeholders, align technology strategy with business needs, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering-led program management, strong Agile experience, and PMP/SAFe/ScrumMaster-type certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with 10+ years experience in program management.
• Experience in Healthcare domain is preferred.
• PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent certification would be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and large global distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership across GE Healthcare Imaging SW teams to drive technology discussion and strategy alignment with business needs and timelines.
• Lead multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes.

As part of the Advanced Imaging Solutions (AIS) platform Software team at GE HealthCare, you will be responsible for wing-to-wing execution of platform programs across the different Imaging modalities in line with the roadmap of the GE Healthcare Imaging business. This role requires you to work closely with technical teams and global stakeholders to drive synergies & adoption of platform deliverables into Imaging product releases and ensure platform solutions are delivered on time, within scope and budget and with desired quality. This role requires a strategic understanding of the business, customer needs, product technology and the purpose & values of GE HealthCare to successfully deliver on the group priorities. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership across GE Healthcare Imaging SW teams to drive technology discussion and strategy alignment with business needs and timelines.
• Lead multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes
• Lead end-to-end execution & adoption of common platform releases across multiple modality programs and drive shared approach and outcomes-based tracking
• Work with technical team comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan
• Enable execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
• Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
• Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
• Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including senior leadership and executives
• Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed and quality of deliveries are verified as per stakeholder expectation and quality metrics are on track.
• Drive operational efficiencies through workflow automation across diverse data sources

Education Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience and with hands on exposure to software development lifecycle required.

Required Skills

• At least 6+ years of program management experience in handling multiple teams within or across organization
• Experience in Healthcare domain would be an added advantage
• PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent certification would be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
• Experience in working with large global distributed teams and knowledge of multiple Agile Frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP or equivalent.
• Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change
• Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals

• Good understanding of business analytics and operational metrics (with focus on data storytelling)
• Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards - Skilled in automating data workflows across diverse data sources such as defect dashboard, Agile PI Planning dashboards etc.
• Ability to build and integrate chatbot capabilities including integrating Power BI with chatbot interfaces
• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, with good technical expertise in Generative AI concepts and applications, and proficiency in tools such as GitHub Copilot and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including senior leadership to gather, understand and translate requirements into effective solutions
• Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
• PMP, SAFe, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
