Job summary

Google LLC in Hyderabad is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Google Global Networking to lead multi-disciplinary network infrastructure programs from conception to delivery, coordinate requirements, risks, schedules, and ensure clear communication with cross-functional partners.

You will work with data center networking teams across India and globally, manage the network plan, and present analyses to executives, balancing cost, quality, and schedule while aligning with Google's scalable

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience designing, constructing, or managing infrastructure projects.
• Experience creating infrastructure designs (e.g., telecom, electrical, mechanical), drawing sets for builds, and remodels of data center networking spaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
• Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
• Ensure unit cost delivery for Google network infrastructure aligned to near build cost economics. Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential deviations, and define actions for critical deviations.
• Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
• Manage the approved network plan with internal contributors such as network negotiators or vendor delivery managers to ensure infrastructure is delivered on-time.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Network, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or other Engineering related field.
• Experience with data center, networking, or telecom operations.
• Experience with both Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) fiber optic infrastructure, including deep knowledge of Dark Fiber, Network Infrastructure, ISP/OSP Network Architecture, Network Topology, and Field Deployment.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to construct, articulate, and defend simple messages or insights from analysis.
