Job summary

Persistent is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong Full Stack Engineering background to lead enterprise software delivery programs from Hyderabad. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, define project scope and success criteria, and ensure delivery excellence across Agile teams.

The role requires guiding multiple complex projects, managing budgets and timelines, mentoring PMs, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years of program management, technical project management, or software delivery leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of full stack development technologies and software engineering practices.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale software development programs.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience leading Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and governance of multiple software programs and projects.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Drive end-to-end delivery while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Full Stack Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Architects, and Product Managers.
• Manage program roadmaps, delivery schedules, resource allocation, and project priorities.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Drive Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, release planning, backlog management, and program reviews.
• Oversee project financials, budget utilization, resource forecasting, and vendor coordination where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with software delivery processes, SDLC standards, and governance frameworks.
• Track and report program KPIs, milestones, dependencies, and executive-level status updates.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.
• Mentor project managers, scrum masters, and engineering leads to improve delivery effectiveness.
• Support cloud modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise technology initiatives.
