Join us as a Technical Product Owner – CLM, where you will define and communicate the technical product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals. Own and manage the product backlog for PB India Client On-boarding platforms, ensuring technical stories are clearly defined and prioritized. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical deliverables. Review and validate technical designs and solutions to ensure requirement traceability. Coordinate with development teams to drive timely and high-quality delivery. Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment between development progress and product objectives. Provide functional and technical support during UAT, SIT, and regression testing. Ensure compliance with Barclays policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks. Mentor team members and promote best practices in technical product ownership and Avaloq development.
Qualifications
- Experience in Client Onboarding, Client Due Diligence, Periodic Review, and their supporting technology platforms.
- Have strong understanding of Investments and Banking domains.
- Possess working knowledge of core banking systems (Finacle, T24, BaNCS, etc.) related to Client Lifecycle journeys.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Be able to document functional and non-functional requirements and manage acceptance and validation processes.
- Have experience coordinating testing activities and driving defect analysis.
Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to understand both technical and business architecture of projects.
- Capability to interpret requirements and design end-to-end functional solutions.
- Strong understanding of data structures, data quality issues, and data flows.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in the financial services sector, working in complex business and architecture environments.
- Strong knowledge of banking applications and functional modules such as Client On-boarding, CRM, etc.
Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Visio, ServiceNow, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in large IT organizations supporting mission-critical systems.
- Basic hands‑on experience with Oracle PL/SQL scripting.

Purpose of the role

Accountabilities
- Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.
- Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.
- Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
- Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
