To be successful as a Technical Product Owner – AVP you should have experience with the following responsibilities and skills.
Key Accountabilities
- Translate business needs into high-quality epics, features and user stories.
- Ensure clarity, traceability and auditability of requirements.
- Own end‑to‑end ATM / Self‑Service journey analysis.
- Maintain a delivery‑ready backlog with Product Owners.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture for scalable solutions.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and operations.
- Support testing, release and production validation.
- Embed risk, resilience and customer impact considerations.
Domain Expertise
- ATM & Self‑Service journeys (withdrawal, deposit, assisted service).
- Device estate including SATM, DATM, ASC and OBP.
- Cash lifecycle: ordering, replenishment, reconciliation and logistics.
- Cards & payments including ATM and POS transaction flows.
Technical Skills
- Base24 transaction routing and authorization understanding.
- Stand‑in processing (STIP) and resilience behavior.
- Transaction limits, balance checks and fraud controls.
- End‑to‑end transaction lifecycle knowledge.
- Integration across device, switch and host systems.
- Strong data analysis capability (Excel, SQL).
Business Analysis Capability
- Translate complex problems into structured requirements.
- Produce process models and journey maps.
- Identify dependencies, risks and control points.
- Drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.
Accountabilities
- Provision of subject‑matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.
- Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.
- Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
- Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meet the bank’s performance standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
