Job summary

Whereuelevate is seeking a hands-on Technical Product Owner to own product decisions end-to-end. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams and ensuring delivery aligns with customer needs. Responsibilities include managing the product roadmap, driving sprint execution, and engaging in architecture discussions.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Location: Pune, Maharashtra.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong Technical Product Owner who can truly own product decisions end-to-end. This is not a coordination-only role. You will actively engage in architecture and development discussions, deeply understand the technology behind the product, and ensure delivery aligns with both customer needs and business goals.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, leadership, and customers to build scalable, reliable, and impactful products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product & Delivery Ownership

• Own the product roadmap, backlog, and feature prioritization.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories and technical specifications.
• Drive sprint planning, execution, delivery timelines, and release management.
• Ensure high product quality across releases and continuous enhancements.

2. Technical Leadership

• Actively participate in system design, architecture, and development discussions.
• Review technical solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and robustness.
• Challenge and refine technical approaches with strong logical and technical reasoning.
• Work closely with developers to remove blockers and improve delivery outcomes.
• Represent the product in customer technical discussions, demos, and requirement workshops.
• Deeply understand customer problems and convert them into actionable product direction.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own post-release support, bug triaging, and issue prioritization.
• Analyze user feedback, product usage, and system performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across product and process.

Required Skills & Experience:

Must-Have

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Tech Lead with product ownership, or Engineering + Product hybrid role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, APIs, databases, and system architecture fundamentals.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred).
• Ability to deeply understand both the product and its underlying technology.
• Excellent problem-solving, logical reasoning, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills with confidence in customer-facing technical conversations.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have

• Experience with SaaS or B2B products.
• Exposure to data platforms, analytics, or compliance-driven systems.
• Domain experience in ESG, sustainability, fintech, or enterprise platforms.
