Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Technical Product Owner for Analytics & Data Products in Pune, operating in a hybrid setup. You will translate strategy into executable work for offshore delivery pods and bridge onshore product stakeholders with offshore engineering and data teams.

You will own the backlog, refine requirements, coordinate sprint execution across time zones, and ensure data products are reliable, performant, and aligned with customer needs.

Technical Product Owner Analytics & Data Products

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner Analytics & Data Products to support the execution, delivery, and ongoing operation of data and analytics products within FCC.

Working closely with the Product Manager Analytics & Data Products, this role translates product strategy and roadmap into well-defined, prioritized, and executable work for our offshore delivery pods. You will serve as the day-to-day bridge between onshore product and customer stakeholders and offshore engineering and data teams, while also supporting the health, quality, and continuous enhancement of data and analytics products already in production.

This is a hands‑on, execution-focused role at the intersection of product management and Agile delivery. You will own the backlog, refine requirements, coordinate sprint execution across time zones, and ensure that products in production remain reliable, performant, and aligned to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Backlog Ownership & Delivery Execution

• Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for assigned data and analytics products in partnership with the Product Manager
• Translate product strategy, roadmap items, and customer needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements
• Lead Agile ceremonies sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives — across onshore and offshore teams
• Accept or reject completed work against defined acceptance criteria and ensure sprint goals are consistently met

Offshore Pod Enablement & Onshore/Offshore Bridge

• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact between onshore product and customer stakeholders and offshore delivery pods
• Coordinate execution across time zones, ensuring offshore teams have clear, unambiguous requirements and can maintain sprint velocity
• Proactively remove blockers, resolve requirement questions, and manage dependencies that span onshore and offshore teams
• Establish and maintain the shared documentation, standards, and communication rhythms that keep distributed teams aligned

Production Product Support & Lifecycle

• Support the ongoing operation, stability, and enhancement of data and analytics products currently in production — APIs, data feeds, dashboards, and embedded insights
• Triage and prioritize production issues, defects, and enhancement requests, balancing new development against operational needs
• Monitor product performance, usage, and quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement
• Coordinate release management to ensure smooth, low-risk deployments across the product portfolio

Requirements, Data Quality & Technical Standards

• Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and solutions are scalable and reliable
• Uphold strong standards for data quality, governance, metadata, and performance across all supported products
• Contribute technical depth to backlog decisions, making informed trade-offs on architecture, integrations, and feasibility

Product Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Support the Product Manager in executing the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market plans for data and analytics offerings
• Represent the voice of the customer to delivery teams, and feed delivery insights back to inform roadmap and prioritization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Data Science, Commercial, Legal, and Compliance teams
• Communicate delivery status, risks, and outcomes clearly to product leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product ownership, technical product management, or Agile delivery of data, analytics, software, or B2B SaaS / information-services products
• Experience acting as a Product Owner or delivery bridge for offshore, distributed, or onshore/offshore teams
• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum, backlog management, and writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Demonstrated ability to translate product strategy and customer needs into executable technical requirements
• Working knowledge of data products, APIs, analytics platforms, or data ecosystems, including structured and unstructured data
• Technical depth sufficient to make informed decisions on feasibility, integrations, and trade-offs with engineering and data teams
• Experience supporting products in production, including issue triage, release coordination, and quality/performance monitoring
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across time zones and cultures
• Experience in financial services, fintech, RegTech, compliance, lending, or legal entity management domains preferred
• Scrum Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) a plus
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, data analytics, or a related field
