WE Excel Software is seeking a Product Owner for our ERP SaaS platform based in Chandigarh. The role involves defining and prioritizing features, translating business needs into user stories, and guiding development teams to deliver scalable ERP solutions.

You will collaborate with customers and stakeholders, maintain the product backlog, and ensure releases meet requirements. Strong analytical, communication, and Agile skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, in ERP or SaaS products.
• Experience in requirement gathering, user story creation, and backlog management.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and prioritize features effectively.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications is preferred.
• Certification in Scrum, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of ERP modules such as Finance, HR, Payroll, CRM, Procurement, Inventory, or Project Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Define product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities aligned with business objectives.
• Create and manage product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, UI/UX, and implementation teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and product demonstrations.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure delivered features meet business requirements and customer expectations.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with support and implementation teams to address customer issues and enhancement requests.
• Maintain product documentation, release notes, and functional specifications.
• Stay updated with ERP industry trends and competitor offerings.
