AI - Technical Product Owner – Software Engineering Lead Analyst

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Technical Product Owner (System Analyst) to join our Product Enrollment Suite (PES) and Plan Benefit Entity (PBE) scrum team. This role combines product ownership, technical analysis, and agile execution to ensure the team delivers high-value platform capabilities. You will be responsible for owning the product roadmap, defining technical requirements, and driving the implementation of backend and AI initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Management, Business Owners, SMEs, architecture, engineering, data, integration, and platform teams to understand priorities, define scope, and align delivery to business value.
• Collaborate with the onshore Product Owner to translate business objectives into detailed technical requirements and actionable tasks.
• Work with engineering leads, developers & QA Engineers to design, validate implementation approach, identify cross-system dependencies, and support technical enablers and platform capabilities.
• Coordinate with other scrum teams and Production Support to anticipate integration needs, triage issues, manage risks, and drive timely resolution.
• Define acceptance criteria and review deliverables to ensure they meet functional, technical, and business requirements.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies for the scrum team.
• Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives, identifying risks and ensuring timely resolution of blockers.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the technical stack, including Python-based backend systems,Frontend (UI/UX), APIs, and cloud services (preferably AWS).

Qualifications:

• 7 to 10 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, System Analyst, or similar role in a technology-focused environment.
• Strong technical background, with experience in backend systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Ability to define business rules, technical user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, interface needs, data mapping requirements, acceptance criteria, and validation scenarios.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with development and QA teams, especially in offshore/onsite models.
• Knowledge of Python, system integrations, and cloud services like AWS is a significant advantage.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, SAFe practices, backlog management, PI planning, sprint planning, refinement, demos, issue triage, release readiness, and production support processes.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Jira, ALM, MS Excel, Word, Visio, SharePoint, and modern software delivery practices including API-based integrations, system testing, and defect management.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
