Job summary

Clean Harbors India Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Product Owner for AI-enabled products. The role requires 12+ years in IT with a minimum of 5 years as a Product Owner, and will collaborate with engineering to deliver features, wireframes, and UX/UI improvements using prompt engineering techniques.

You will own the product vision, manage backlogs, write epics and user stories, work with Scrum Masters on sprint planning, and ensure alignment with enterprise roadmaps while maintaining strong

Job Title: Product Owner - AI Enabled Products

Experience: 12+ Years with Min 5 years as Product Owner

Working Hours: 12.00pm to 9.00pm

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new features and improvements
• Understands UX/UI components, wire-framing elements and design. Knowledge of Figma. Lucid, etc..
• Apply prompt engineering techniques for wireframing and design.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and presenting ideas in group setting.
• Prior experience with Atlassian products including JIRA and Confluence
• Authors Epics and Stories with detailed acceptance criteria for enhancement requests that address stakeholder business problems
• Works closely with delivery teams & business analysts to translate business requirements into workable product backlogs
• Partners closely with the Scrum Masters on sprint planning, including prioritizing stories that have the highest business value and are aligned with enterprise standards and business roadmaps.
• Use lean, iterative experiments and low-fidelity prototyping to find signal, validate hypothesis, and iterate before moving to scale
• Collaborate with partners to define end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant, and scalable technology solutions
• Assess opportunities for reusing enterprise solutions and build new platforms with enterprise scalability in mind
• Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation. A keen curiosity about emerging tools and technologies
• Understands the enterprise IT processes and works closely with stakeholders to identify appropriate solutions to business problems.
• Determines scope, estimates work effort, and determines duration of development activities.
• Designs solutions to meet business requirements and works in close coordination with architects and delivery leads to drive solutions to production
• Owns and updates the product vision and roadmaps.
• Collaborates with the agile team to prepare the estimates for the user stories within the product backlog.
• Conducts the formal review and acceptance of user stories implemented by the agile team within a sprint.
• Drives the execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) activities with support from business and technology team members.
• Provides daily support to the application / Product platform; including, integrations and administration

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Technology Product Owner in developing tech platforms for underwriting, and policy lifecycle processes or Insurtech, with a solid understanding of insurance products, processes, and customer needs.
• Demonstrate ability to combine deep business and product knowledge with technical know-how
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within cross-functional Agile teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering user-centered products.
• Ability to independently plan deliverables and coordinate with team-members.
• Team player - friendly, communicative, open, honest, thoughtful, and committed.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others, sharing ideas, collaborating and ultimately, putting team goals first.
• Experience mentoring and coaching others
• Demonstrated documentation experience in creating rich content that explains business requirements – usage of various documentation tools is a must

Recommended Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software or other Technical degree.
• 12+ experience in IT field, 5+ years minimum working as a Product Owner in IT field, with at least 3+ years as Technology Product Owner.
• Demonstrated experience with building software products using agile methodologies.
