Primary Responsibilities
- Product Manager for US Healthcare IT product or portfolio of products
- Work with teams on Operational Intelligence (OPSi), a Risk Engine in the Risk and Quality Space (RQ) within Optum Insight Organization
- Collaborate with Product Managers in the US to gather the roadmap and drive delivery with Scrum teams distributed globally
- Define and drive product strategy and roadmap for OPSi products
- Clearly articulate product vision, strategy and roadmap to the engineering team as needed
- Own the portfolio backlog and roadmap execution
- Collaborate with UX and engineering to drive product design as applicable
- Identify and access relevant data to build a compelling business case self-directed
- Deliver consistent value based on business MBOs
- Drive system demos to stakeholders and customers
- Prioritize backlog at feature and user-story level with understanding of each feature
- Act effectively on feedback from retrospectives
- Identify potential issues and proactively develop mitigation plans
- Build and drive a culture of innovation in the portfolio
- Comply with employment contracts, company policies and procedures, and directives as they arise due to the changing business environment
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of product management experience in US Healthcare IT Industry (MBA or equivalent business degree preferred)
- Deep understanding of Healthcare domain, segments, business practices and financial structures
- Expertise in defining and driving product strategy and roadmap for products
- Expertise in identifying business opportunities to leverage technology and drive improvements in product capabilities
- Expertise in defining user or buyer personas, translating needs into actionable plans
- Expertise in analyzing, reviewing, and forecasting data for operational and business planning
- Expertise in gathering market insights, analyzing competitive landscape and recommending product strategy across the product lifecycle
- Expertise in driving cost or benefit analyses and tracking forecast to ensure the product performs as expected
- Expertise in applying data-driven knowledge and best practices to improve product
- Expertise in gathering requirements from the business, documenting and maintaining product backlog/roadmap
- Experience in process improvement, workflow benchmarking and evaluation of business processes
- Ability to communicate with technology teams about existing and emerging technologies and the overall solution space
- Knowledgeable in using Gen AI tools for requirements gathering (e.g., Story Craft)
