Job summary

ViH Labs and Innovation is seeking a technically curious Technical Project Manager with 1–2 years of experience to drive AI projects for clients. You will bridge client needs with internal teams, manage POCs, and ensure smooth delivery from gathering to implementation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with 1–2 years of experience who has a strong interest in technology, Artificial Intelligence, and client-facing project delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding technology, interacting with clients, translating business requirements into technical use cases, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver successful AI solutions.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with senior team members, technical teams, and clients to understand their requirements, demonstrate our AI-powered solutions, manage Proofs of Concept (POCs), and ensure projects move smoothly from requirement gathering to implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client Interaction & AI Product Demonstrations
   • Conduct demonstrations of our AI tools and solutions for prospective and existing clients.
   • Clearly explain technical concepts, AI capabilities, features, and use cases to clients with different levels of technical knowledge.
   • Understand client requirements, business problems, workflows, and pain points.
   • Identify how our AI solutions can be applied to specific client scenarios.
   • Act as a bridge between clients and internal technical/product teams.
2. Requirement Gathering & Use-Case Understanding
   • Understand and document client requirements and business use cases.
   • Analyze different client scenarios and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
   • Work with senior team members and developers to determine the feasibility and approach for proposed solutions.
   • Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and potential challenges early in the project.
   • Prepare requirement documents, use-case descriptions, project notes, and other relevant documentation.
3. POC Management
   • Take ownership of assigned Proofs of Concept (POCs) from requirement understanding through execution and demonstration.
   • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure POCs are delivered within agreed timelines.
   • Track requirements, deliverables, dependencies, issues, and milestones.
   • Coordinate client feedback and communicate changes to the internal team.
   • Prepare and conduct POC reviews and demonstrations for clients.
   • Follow up on POC outcomes and help identify opportunities for moving successful POCs toward implementation.
4. Project Coordination & Management
   • Coordinate day-to-day activities across technical, product, and business teams.
   • Track project timelines, deliverables, priorities, and dependencies.
   • Conduct regular follow-ups with team members and ensure action items are completed.
   • Maintain project documentation and status reports.
   • Escalate blockers and risks to senior management when required.
   • Support senior project managers and leadership in planning and executing projects.
5. Team Collaboration & Leadership
   • Work closely with developers, AI/ML teams, product teams, and senior project managers.
   • Help the team stay aligned with project objectives and client requirements.
   • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and leadership in day-to-day project activities.
   • Take initiative to identify problems and propose practical solutions.
   • Support senior team members in managing multiple projects and client engagements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in project management, technical project coordination, business analysis, software implementation, or a related technology role.
• Good understanding of technology and software development concepts.
• Strong interest and basic working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, LLMs, automation, and AI-powered applications.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to understand different business scenarios and convert them into clear requirements/use cases.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage priorities.
• Proactive attitude with strong ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup/AI environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical knowledge.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience working with AI/ML, Generative AI, SaaS, software products, or technology startups.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, software development life cycle (SDLC), or basic system architecture.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Notion, Confluence, or similar project-management platforms.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience handling client POCs, product demos, implementations, or technical consulting.
• Basic knowledge of prompt engineering, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, or AI automation workflows.
