Job summary

Orbia Advance Corporation seeks a Technical Support Engineer to assist customers during trials and production, applying expertise in polymers and formulations. You will troubleshoot processing issues, lead RCA investigations, and work with manufacturing, quality and commercial teams to ensure product consistency and satisfy customers in India and AMEA regions.

Degree in Polymer Engineering or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Polymer Engineering, Plastics Technology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline.
• Strong background in polymer science, compounding and application engineering.
• Hands-on experience with analytical laboratory equipment (FTIR, DSC, TGA, Rheometers).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers during trials, product qualification and commercial production.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and propose optimization solutions.
• Lead customer complaint investigations, RCA and corrective actions.
• Conduct benchmarking and reverse engineering of competitive materials.
• Support localisation of global formulations for regional raw materials and regulatory requirements.
• Lead technical support for customer audits and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and commercial teams to ensure product consistency.
• Support introduction and adoption of new products across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to customers during trials, product qualification and commercial production.

• Lead technical support for customer audits and compliance activities.


• Work closely with manufacturing, quality and commercial teams to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction.


• Support the introduction and adoption of new products across the region.

• Reduction in customer complaints and faster issue resolution.

• Effective localisation of products for the India and AMEA markets.

Requirements:

Degree in Polymer Engineering, Plastics Technology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline.

• Strong background in polymer science, compounding and application engineering.


• Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles within PVC, HFFR, cable compounds or related polymer industries.


• Expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis and process optimisation.
