Job summary

PeopleStrong in India is seeking a qualified facilities manager based in Madhya Pradesh, Khandwa district, to oversee the property’s maintenance, safety, and development projects.

You will manage budgets, contracts, and a technical team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive energy efficiency and sustainability across the portfolio.

The role requires a B.Tech and a hands-on approach to coordinating with owners, tenants, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering with facilities exposure.
• Experience in managing building/property projects and teams.
• Strong budget and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring that it is in good condition and meets all necessary safety requirements.
• Managing property development projects, including the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of the property.
• Managing the property budget, ensuring that all projects and maintenance activities are completed within the allocated budget.
• Ensuring that the property complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with the property, including health and safety risks, legal risks, and financial risks.
• Managing contracts with contractors and vendors, ensuring that they deliver high-quality work and meet all contractual obligations.
• Ensuring that the property is sustainable and environmentally friendly, including implementing energy-efficient systems and reducing waste.
• Communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including property owners, tenants, and contractors.
• Managing and developing the technical team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
• Ensuring that the property complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including building codes and zoning laws.
