Job summary

To The New is seeking a Salesforce expert with 7+ years of hands-on experience in Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. You will design and implement scalable solutions, customize with Apex Triggers, Classes, and Visualforce, and handle data migration and API integration.

You will work across SDLC best practices, support frontend needs with HTML5/CSS/JS, and collaborate closely with PMs and architects to deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 7 years of Salesforce experience.
• Contribute to detailed design and technology selection, providing inputs on alignment and feasibility.
• Demonstrate understanding of SDLC and best practices for solution development.
• Design and develop Salesforce components following standards and to deliver high quality results.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborate with PMs and Architects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the detailed design and technology selection for the solution.
• Design, develop and customize Salesforce components using Apex/Visualforce.
• Integrate with REST/SOAP APIs and perform data migration tasks.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support frontend needs via HTML5/CSS/JS.

Job description

• Extensive Hands-on experience with either Salesforce Service Cloud or Sales Could solution Design and Implementation including but not limited to with customization(Apex Triggers, Classes & VisualForce), configuration(Formulas, Workflows, Approval processes, Custom objects, and fields, Sharing Rules, Page layouts, Record types, Permission Sets, Reports, and Dashboards)
• Expertise in Administrative tasks like maintaining User Roles and Security, Page Layouts, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks, and Events
• Understanding of data Structures and experience in Data Migration using Import Wizard, Workbench, and other integration tools like Apex Data Loader
• General understanding of the full application lifecycle from inception through maintenance
• Integration experience with Salesforce.com API (REST & SOAP)
• Development experience in Classic and Lightning, with a preference for the latter.
• Good understanding of MVC patterns & Webapp Architecture with an ability to provide support around the frontend experience via HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, and JS.
• Comfort across atleast 1 Source Control system with a preference for Git

Nice to Have:

• Salesforce Certifications and/or Trailheads
• Experience with integrating across atleast 1 Salesforce cloud service like Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud etc.
• Experience and know how around building custom modules(Java or any preferred language) to support and service the Salesforce ecosystem

Requirements

• Relevant work experience of at least 7 years into Salesforce
• Contribute to the detailed design and technology selection, providing inputs from their expertise, such as technology alignment and fit, best practices, and feasibility
• Researching and sharing information towards detailed technical decisions within the team, to ensure a technically sound and feasible solution.
• Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Design and develop components of the solution following standards and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for taking on technical challenges
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Work closely with Project Managers/Architects
• Good Team and People Management skills
