Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (NET Developer) with 7+ years of experience to design, build, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core 8.0.

You will contribute to microservices architectures, REST APIs, cloud-native deployments, and CI/CD pipelines, with OpenShift/Kubernetes environments. Experience with ReactJS is a plus and collaboration across teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET Core 8.0.
• Build microservices-based solutions following best practices and design principles.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and service-to-service communication frameworks.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database solutions and support automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for Git version control, branching strategies, and pull request management.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
• Create and manage containerized applications using Docker and deploy them to OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application deployment and production issues.
• Contribute to system performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in microservices architecture, REST API development, cloud-native deployments, CI/CD practices, containerization, and OpenShift/Kubernetes environments. Experience in ReactJS will be an added advantage.

Skill Requirements

• Strong programming experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core 8.0 with the ability to build robust enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design principles.
• Hands-on experience in developing and consuming REST APIs and implementing service integrations.
• Good knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience working with relational databases, database design, and automation processes.
• Proficiency in Git, including branching, merge strategies, pull requests, and code review practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness for automated deployments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Working knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to deploy, monitor, and support applications in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with ReactJS for frontend development is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
