Job summary

Aristocrat in India is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure our games meet world-class quality across mobile and web platforms. You will build test plans, write cases, run regression tests and coordinate with Product Owners and developers to understand requirements and drive quality from planning through release.

You will investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis and contribute to a culture of excellence in testing and delivery for our diverse gaming content.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in testing web applications and Client/Server applications.
• MUST have proficiency in SQL and test documentation.
• Upper-intermediate English required.

Responsibilities

• Test mobile and web games and related features: UI, UX, functional and exploratory testing.
• Build and execute test plans, write detailed test cases.
• Perform regression testing on existing portfolios to ensure quality.
• Plan and estimate test activities based on release schedules.
• Gather information from Product Owners, PMs, QA and development teams for testing.
• Manage defects by investigating, reporting and tracking to resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and handle bugs related to production incidents.
• Collaborate with development and other teams to implement solutions.

What You'll Do

• Test mobile and web games and related features, including UI, UX, Functional, and Exploratory testing
• Build and complete test plans, including writing detailed test cases
• Perform regression testing on existing portfolios to ensure continuous quality
• Plan and estimate test activities based on release schedules
• Gather required information from Product Owners, Project Managers, QA, and development teams, and evaluate it for testing purposes
• Manage defects by investigating, reporting, and tracking them to resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis and handle bugs related to production incidents
• Collaborate closely with the development team and other collaborators to successfully implement solutions

What We're Looking For

• At least 5+ years of proven experience in testing web applications and Client/Server applications
• Familiarity with the build and development of test documentation, including test cases and bug reports — MUST
• Proficiency in SQL — MUST
• Upper-intermediate level of English
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in any exact Sciences from a reputable university or graduate of QA studies from a recognized QA academy — an advantage
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile (SCRUM) methodologies — an advantage
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to deep dive into complex problems and determine their root cause
• Hard-working, responsible, diligent, self-initiator with excellent learning abilities and great communication and interpersonal skills
