Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Technical Lead (Documentum ECM Expert) in Greater Noida. The role requires 7–10 years of hands-on experience with OpenText Documentum including implementation, administration, development, and migration tasks. You will lead architecture decisions and oversee complex ECM projects.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Documentum components such as Content Server, Docbase, DocBroker, DFC, and related tools, with strong SQL skills and repository analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Documentum implementation, administration, development, repository analysis, support or migration.
• Deep understanding of Documentum architecture: Content Server, repository/docbase, DocBroker, DFC, JMS, Documentum Administrator, jobs, methods, workflows, lifecycles, ACLs, storage areas.

Responsibilities

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Documentum design, development and migration tasks.
• Explain usage of Documentum database objects, including metadata persistence, security, audit trail, workflow, lifecycle, versioning and content-location.
• Analyze repository inventory, metadata profiling, storage assessment and migration feasibility for large repositories.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on ECM solutions and migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Documentum implementation, administration, development, repository analysis, support, or migration.
• Deep understanding of Documentum architecture, including Content Server, repository/docbase, DocBroker, DFC, Java Method Server, Documentum Administrator, jobs, methods, workflows, lifecycles, ACLs, and storage areas.
• Strong knowledge of the Documentum object model, type inheritance, system and custom object types, versions, renditions, virtual documents, relations, folders, cabinets, contentless objects, and repeating attributes.
• Hands-on expertise in Documentum DQL and working knowledge of the underlying Oracle or SQL Server repository database for analysis, troubleshooting, extraction planning, and reconciliation.
• Ability to explain the usage of Documentum database objects and relationships, including metadata persistence, repeating-value tables, security, audit trail, workflow, lifecycle, version, content-location, and configuration data.
• Strong understanding of Documentum content storage architecture, filestore organization, content objects, storage-area mapping, file locations, renditions, distributed storage, retention storage, and database-to-content linkage.
• Practical experience creating repository inventory, metadata profiling, storage assessment, data-quality analysis, and migration feasibility reports for large enterprise repositories.
